I am thankful for my friends. I often go to them asking for advice, and they always end up helping me.

I am thankful for all the educators who have been a part of my life. They have an honest unswerving commitment to helping me learn and enable me to pursue my goals.

I am thankful for Google Inc., because without their search engine I do not know how I would have been able to complete high school.
I am thankful for all the good books that I have read because they have taught me so many valuable lessons.
Finally, I am thankful for everyone that have been and are currently apart of my life, whether good or bad, because they are shaping me into the successful and benevolent person that I am destined to become.

I am very thankful for my teacher Mrs. Caplan. We never turned in our huge research project to turnitin.com and she extended the deadline for us. It is very much appreciated to have teacher who can be understanding. (Also Thank You Mr. Pye).
I am grateful for my family. We had a very big thanksgiving with all of our family. It is always great to see them.
I am Very thankful for this thanksgiving break. We all needed the break. Even though we still had homework we at least had more time to get it done. Sleeping in was also very nice.

I am thankful for my family an their support for everything that I do! I know I do not appreciate them daily as much as I should but I don't know what I would do or where I would be without them. They are truly my life and have made me who I am today!

I am thankful for the week long break that we got this year instead of the three days we had last year. I have pretty much just chilled at home and hung out with friends. the entire break. God knows that we all needed this and the stress of homework and tests was beginning to become overwhelming!

I am also thankful for my friends. They always have my back and never fail to keep me entertained.
-just loving life right now:)

I'm thankful for my family. Although we don't always get along, I know that I can count on them for anything and everything.
I'm also very thankful for my dog, Bane. For the 6 days out of a week that I'm home alone, he's the one that keeps me company. He's also very fluffy and warm when its cold.
I'm thankful for everything. Whether its friends, material possessions, love, sleep, etc., I'm thankful for everything that I've been blessed with.

Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. Pye! :)

I am thankful for being zoned out of Clements and into Elkins; my rank and GPA are thankful, by extension.

I'm thankful for all the people who I've met. No man is an island and I measure my life with the people who affected me and I affect.

I am thankful for having parents that even now still carry me on their backs without me knowing by providing me all the essentials in life and even the luxuries. I will remain thankful, as they will continue to support me through college but I hope to return this favor back to them one day.

I am thankful for this thanksgiving break because it gave me a 9 day break from all the unexpected clusterfudge of stress and sleepless nights from schoolwork. Above all the most important thing from this break for me is realizing not to try so hard in my schoolwork because it's not the most important thing. The laws of physics don't apply to school anymore. The amount of time and effort I put in, the better I do. Equal and opposite reaction, right? No. This year physics broke for me. Instead school hacks its way through dimensions, takes a massive dump over all the effort I put in, flanks me from the side, strikes with a force of over 9000 Newtons, breaks the Normal Force, transcends into the dimension of my soul, smashes it with a wrecking ball, then transforms into the Incredible Hulk, picks me up and smashes me six times over onto the concrete and everytime I get back up, I wake to see the Marvel Avengers staring me down, ready to shut me down for another awesome blossom grading period. But I'm not complaining, I'm thankful.

Lastly, I am thankful for surviving the 2012 winter solstice apocalypse and living to tell the tale because now, I have the potential to make my future a bright one.

I am thankful for my friends. Let me give a little shout out to my good friend Sarmistha who let me know about this blog that I, otherwise, would have missed out on without her.

I am most definitely thankful for my family. Without them I wouldn't be the person I am today. My parents, my uncles and aunts, my grandparents, my cousins and nephews and nieces all have made me into who I am.

And finally, I am very thankful to be an American. As many problems and issues as our country may have, it truly is an awesome opportunity to live in a country such as ours. The more and more I see and the more people I meet helps to realize this more and more every day.

To begin, I am thankful for my friends. I have a very small circle of people that I consider friends, seeing as though I take a liking to very rare character traits, such as weirdness, humor, brotherhood, and others I can spend many paragraphs talking about.

Secondly, I am thankful for all the places I’ve been able to go because of my parents’ hard work. They remind me daily that they work hard for my brother and me and I appreciate them for that.

Thirdly, I am very thankful for my peculiar conscience. I think very differently than other people, sometimes in a good way and sometimes in a bad way. However, I am thankful that I am so different because it sets me apart from the norm.

I am thankful for football, as it gives me a sociably acceptable excuse to sit at home all day and do nothing but eat, yell, and make fun of the announcers.

I am thankful for my family and friends who motivate me to be the best I can be at all times, and provide a shoulder to cry on in times of sadness.

I am thankful for modern medication. Contracting strep throat and the flu would of been terrible over this wonderful break had the penicillin shot into my butt not been available.

I am thankful for public education because despite all the stupid people that are in our society they would be far more of them if we didn't have the government forcing the idiot deadbeats to send their kids to school.

I am thankful for my friends and family and the social interactions that they offer to me to discover new viewpoints in life along with good times.

I am thankful for apple products especially the group text feature that allowed Dylan to inform me, a long with others, that there was a blog this week and of other homework assignments that have been forgotten.

I am thankful for my family and all their love and support.

I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and food to eat. There are too many people in the world who don't have easy and convenient access to clean food and water.

And I am especially thankful for this break from school. It allowed me to catch up on some much needed sleep and relaxation.

This Thanksgiving has been a quite fulfilling break. As much as these simple few days were simply spent away from school, I believe they were used wisely as a means of distancing us from the tedium of endless school and assignments to the point of inner sadness and disappointment. As a result, I appreciate the school board for approving the break at a full five days off from attendance. It makes a world of a difference from the insanity that the previous week foretold with the deadlines of multiple projects, tests, and of the like.

Perhaps within this blog, I can express my full gratitude for being alive. I can assuredly address my claim for being alive thanks to anyone who supported me, be it family, friends, teachers, associates, comrades, colleagues, and of the like. For me, this break was a point of which I turned another year older than what I was previously known officially by the state. Thus, I became the full-fledged adult who could vote and represent themselves with a driver's license and not a provisional one. Ah, I can surely be proud of reaching this stage in life without the issues that do plague other lives, of which I know I must wish the better for.

In conclusion, there may not be many other items of which I can address with determination and extreme focus as I did with the former ideas. However, I want to be thankful for anything of which I am unaware of what has or had happened in the span of my lifetime and of others. For me, I see that the efforts that others made allowed me to be present in this place at this time without the suffering of polio, other diseases, outbreaks, a nuclear fallout, natural disasters, or any unsafe conditions that would normally impede my life. If I have not been able to account for what I can remember off the top of my mind, the fact that I can state this address to the unknown forces/people who were responsible for me to celebrate this Thanksgiving in 2013 will hopefully make up at least a little to those who do not receive the proper recognition that I should show as a result of my existence. Hmm, I hope this essay has covered my thought process. Well, I hope everyone has had a great thanksgiving and see you soon Mr. Pye.

I am thankful for my family because I know they will always be there for me. I am also thankful for my friends, especially the ones who tell you that there is extra credit for economics because I already missed like 3 blogs (e.g. Ann Mathew). Lastly, I am thankful for McDonald's and for Hot 'n Spicy's and for the that fact that they have a 24 hour drive thru.

I'm thankful for my family. I'm extremely blessed to have people that support me in everything that I do and are always there to lend a hand.
I'm also thankful for my friends. I'm so lucky to have people that stick with me through good times and bad times and are always there for me, whether we're laughing or crying together.
I'm also thankful and ecstatic about the fact that everyday we're nearing the end of senior year. I've waited 18 long years to start getting those college application letters so that I can go off and pursue a career in what I want to do and make a life for myself.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Mr. Pye!

First of all, I am thankful for my family, especially my grandmother, mother, and aunts. Without these independent and hardworking women in my life, I would not lived to this age and dreamed of doing anything. I owe my life to them. Their continual support and advises encourage me to persist in what I like to do.
I am also thankful for music. With it, life is colorful. When I am down, it can always pump me up. The emotions that I can experience while listening to music are enriching. It provides relaxation and comfort in daily life.
I am also thankful for being able to live in a safe city. Because of this, I don't have worry about my safety every second of the day and can continue to enjoy my life.

I am thankful for many things. I thank God for always watching over us. Without God, my life would have no meaning. I thank him for all the blessings he has given me. I thank him for transforming me to who I am right now. A talent, a loving family, and mainly life. I also thank my parents for always supporting me with anything I do. My parents work very hard to keep our family stable. I hope to do the same when I become older and give back. I am thankful for kind and caring friends. I am glad to have people by my side when I am not feeling well.

I am thankful for the freedom of opportunity laid out before me. I am thankful that I truly can be whatever I want so long as I put the work in for it. I am thankful that I can actually get out what I put in.

I do not have to pick up a job to support myself or my family members, and if I did pick one up, the money would be spent solely on desires as opposed to necessities.

On weekends I have time to go out with friends or stay at home and read or watch television.

At night, I can sleep most comfortably with my greatest concern maybe being an incoming test, quiz, or assignment.

However, I am most grateful for my future. Albeit, I do not know what I will be doing years from now, but I am fairly certain I will not be living on the streets so long as I take care of what needs taking care of. In this society we live in, we do not have to fight and kill and steal to survive because hard work will take care of us.

Finally, I am grateful for the opportunity to mold myself into who I am today, not a pick-pocket or a liar, but a gentleman. Today, I left both my wallet and keys on a treadmill at the gym, and when I came back to it, someone running on the treadmill handed it to me with all the money inside and a joke about how I wouldn't be able to get home without them. The goodness in the people around me makes me want to be good. Of course, the scoundrels will always be out there, but I am an optimist. In the past week, I have given up my spot for a biology field trip to a student who I thought was more deserving of it, and given up candy to someone who would be far happier with it than I was. I've come to live by the idea of making my death mean something to people. I am not a religious person, but when I die, I want people to miss me and stand at my funeral procession and be able to reminisce about all those times I did this for her and that for him and so on and so forth. When I gave up the candy and the field trip, emotions welled up in me, not regret. It felt so so indescribably amazing to make someone happy, a feeling worth way more than a field trip or a few pieces of candy.

In conclusion, I am grateful, not for what I have been given, but what I can give.
