I believe the most important of these traits is team smarts because you have to be able to work with people and, in a way, know how to manipulate them to get things done.
I would add in that a CEO should also be a good negotiator, clearly objective on any topic relating to their work, and be goal-oriented.
I believe I possess battle-hardened confidence, team smarts, and Passionate curiosity, however, I need to work on having a simple mind-set and being fearlessness.

I believe the most important trait for CEOs to have is passionate curiosity. I also think CEOs should be skeptical and persevering, because it is necessary to keep a level head in stressful situations. I believe I possess battle-hardened confidence, fearlessness, and passionate curiosity. I still need to work on a simple mind set and team smarts.

I believe the most important trait for CEOs is the passionate curiosity because they have to be able to listen to new ideas and take those suggestions into consideration. I think CEOs need to have good credibility because if you lose that credibility then no one will trust you again. CEOs should also be honest and be able to recognize and reward effort. I believe I have passionate curiosity, simple mind set, and team smarts. I need to work on fearlessness and battle-hardened confidence.

I would like to add that a CEO should be tactful, as well as compassionate so they can connect better with their workers but they should know when to turn it off during a business deal. The most important trait of the ones listed would be passionate-curiosity because they are growing from the critiques they receive. I myself would have to work on team smarts because I try to take on all the responsibilities myself because I have a certain way of working that just works for me.

I think l the most important of those traits is fearlessness because business owners have to take risks at some point in order to be successful. Responsible and innovative should both be added to the list. Of the traits listed I believe I possess team smarts, a simple mind-set, and confidence. I think that I need to work on my fearlessness because individuality sourced from risk taking is a common trend amongst the top businessmen/women.

I personally think that Team Smarts is the most important attribute because it personifies what going out into the world is going to be like. A genius or a college dropout, any individual who knows how to work with other people can potentially do well in the future. Although strong points, I think it is key to include the character of Patient Attitude, because no individual can succeed without being patient. Those who work hard for a goal and spend time on it can win big compared to those that may throw in the towel early. I believe I have a simple mind set but need to work on my Battle-Hardened Confidence.

I think that battle hardened confidence is the most important attribute because you cannot be a effective and successful leader if you are not confident. People don't respect leaders who don't have confidence. Dealing with adversity is in my opinion one of the main important attributes. People are faced with many challenges in their career and it is important for them to be able to overcome them. i think that honesty and integrity should be added to the list because when CEO's make dishonest decisions, they end up getting in lots of trouble and ruining their company, and career. I believe that i have team smarts and a simple mind set. I need to work on passionate curiosity.

I personally feel that fearlessness is one of the most important characteristics on the list because entrepreneurs and businessmen/women need to be able to step out of their comfort zone to make decisions for the future. The more someone steps out of the box, the more new discoveries and brought to light. I feel like I possess the characteristics of team smarts and fearlessness. I definitely need to work on my passionate curiosity, so I can be more sensitive to others' emotions.

In my opinion, battle-hardened confidence is the most vital characteristic of a CEO. It is this confidence that contributes to the ability to command a room or gain the respect of a team, and without this confidence many companies would fail. I believe that integrity should be added to the list, because honest business practices are necessary for the success of a company. Also, I believe that the ability to inspire others should be added to this list. A CEO should be able to inspire and motivate members of a team to work together to achieve something, otherwise their team will remain ineffective and apathetic. I believe that I possess battle-hardened confidence, but I lack a simple mindset. I am often too preoccupied with trees to see the forest, so I think that's something I personally need to work on.

Having a simple mind-set is the most important trait to have because individuals and even teams of people can oftentimes lose sight of their initial objective. When there are several ideas that pile on top of each other in the midst of analyzing how to approach the question at hand, the project can become unnecessarily open-ended and off-topic. It's crucial for solutions and presentations to be concise and effective.
Integrity and innovative thinking should be added to the list. Integrity is key to building reputation and overall trust among teammates. Workers with integrity will also guarantee that whatever they produce will be done with their best effort without having to be told to do so. Innovative thinking is essentially the ability to view a situation with an "out of the box" perspective. People with this skill are typically well cultured.
I am a little of all the traits, but my strongest traits are team smarts and simple mind-set. I have always been a firm believer that greater success can be achieved with a strong team. It's unrealistic to try to win alone. Therefore, I take additional steps to be aware of my teammates' demeanors, work ethics, and attitudes. Everyone has specialized strengths that can be utilized to their fullest potential. Additionally, I am very straight-forward. There is always a way to efficiently yield a high quality output. My weakest trait is fearlessness. I tend to fall into dogma-like routine and member choosing. If I find workers who fit together and a route that consistently works then why drastically change things? Change, however, keeps the team alert to new problems and makes the company flexible, stretching the ability and overall success of the products.

I believe that battle-hardened confidence is the most important trait that a CEO must portray. In being confident, people can pull off many things, or at least give the impression that they can. The business world is all about image and being confident provides the image that you are well prepared and smart, greatly benefiting your company. Also, I believe that confidence and fearlessness go hand in hand. There is no way that you could have confidence without being fearless. In my opinion, the trait of responsibility should be added to the list. These days, people are not very responsible and procrastinate a lot. If things were done in a more efficient and timely manner, it would increase the productivity of a company. One of the traits listed that I think I possess is A simple mind-set. I think a huge problem in our society today is people trying to vaguely or give side clues as to their true intentions. I am a true believer that saying what you're thinking upfront to someone will benefit you ultimately. I myself would have to work on teams smarts because I dont always like following instructions.

In my opinion, The most important trait a CEO should possess is a passionate curiosity. A CEO doesn't have to be the smartest person in the room but they must be able to ask the right questions in order to help develop an idea or further a project. A CEO, as a leader, must set an example for their following to take risks and inquire information.

I believe "team smarts" is one of the most important qualities a CEO can have. If you can see and bring out the best in a team, you can compile the best and most useful traits of everyone on the team and end up with results that are much better than any individual effort. Passionate curiosity is an important one, as well, as I believe it is extremely important to be able to understand the way things work to understand how they could be rearranged to work better, or faster, or more precisely. That is the trait I have most; I ask a lot of questions and try to understand the exact way and reasons everything works. However, I am not especially fearless. A lot of situations make me anxious, and while I can identify ways that may make things easier or better, I hate speaking up or making an effort to try them.

I believe "team smarts" is the most important characteristic of an executive because every leader first and foremost must know how to lead and manage their team or followers, and knowing how to interact and communicate well with others is invaluable in any kind of business involving people. However I also think that being humble, disciplined, and scrupulous are also essential characteristics of a leader. I must admit though that I am not team smart. I've never been much of a leader in anything and I actually prefer working alone, but I hope I can overcome my flaws one day.

I think that being confident is the most important trait to have because people will not believe in you unless you believe in yourself. I think having the ability to understand people and being able to get along with other people are also important traits to have. Having the ability to understand people and being able to get along with others will make the CEO's employees see the CEO as someone who is their friend rather than someone who is an arrogant leader. I posses having a passionate curiosity however I need to work on being more confident.

I believe that fearlessness is the most important trait because as a leader you must be okay stepping outside of the box and trying new things. If you are afraid to try new things and make mistakes as a leader it can negatively affect the people working for you and furthermore endless opportunities can be missed as a result. I think work ethic should be added to the list of characteristics simply because although it does not necessarily guarantee success just like the others it is a cornerstone of success and one can not be successful without it. I believe that of the five characteristics the ones I possess are battle hardened confidence, team smarts, and fearlessness. I believe sports has helped to develop each of the characteristics. As an athlete you must be able to handle adversity, and a team player just in order to even play sports from the beginning. You must also be fearless in order to not worry about making mistakes and just play freely and enjoy playing the game. The two I need to work more on are passionate curiosity and simple mind set. I think in the world we live in today with so much technology it can become easy to over complicate things. I myself have been a victim to this and now I see the importance of being more concise and getting straight to a point. I also need to work on becoming more passionate about learning new things, I believe that I do enjoy learning new things but I am not always passionate about doing so. Overall I really enjoyed reading this article and I learned a lot from a different perspective.

I think passionate curiosity is important because people should want to learn more and be engaged into what they are doing. They do not do it for a simple reason, they do it because they are interested in what they want to do and are open to more ideas. I think a few characteristics that should be added to the list are humble, interesting, and generous because they can be more positive and bring a different aspect to jobs. I feel that I possess are team smarts and passionate curiosity. I am able to work together with people like in my classes, and bring new ideas to certain problems. Also, whatever I enjoy doing, I am very passionate about and curious to learn more about it, like in chemistry. I need to work on battle-hardened confidence and fearlessness. I can doubt myself sometimes about things I want to do because I want to get it right the first time and I do not want to disappoint people or myself. I also have trouble taking a chance and not fearing the consequences cause in the end everyone learns from their mistakes.

I think that having battle hardened confidence is important as a CEO. The CEO is the face of the company and must be able to overcome any obstacles they encounter. Being confident helps the company tackle any project ahead of them and allows then to preserve through the problems that needs to be pick. The company will not respect their leader if the leader is not confident in their work and the directions the company is heading.
I posses passionate curiosity, team smarts, confidence, and simple kindness. I need to work on being fearlessness. I think caring needs to be added on the list. People need to believe in both the message and the messenger. A caring quality will show the people that work for the company that work is noted and is given credit for. People like to feel loved and appreciated for and if the CEO does not show that he/she does not care then workers of the company will not feel motivated to work.

Of the characteristics presented I think that the most important is being a team player. a CEO who is able to make compromises with his or her employees will get a better reputation and harder working workers.
OF the traits shown I think that I have a simple mind-set which allows me to pay attention to the most important details. I could always work on being fearless because I tend to doubt my actions and second-guess myself.

Of the characteristics that CEOs share, I think having battle hardened confidence is the most important quality to have. If someone radiates confidence, they have the ability to attract people and are trusted with responsibilites. Having confidence brings about fearlessness and good team work.
I feel that CEOs should also be open minded. Being open minded allows someone to be a better team player and allows more opportunities and ideas to be shared.
Of the traits listed, I believe I have good team smarts. With my time in band, I have had leadership positions that have trained me to be effecient in a team and how to get a team to work together for a single cause. Being in band has allowed me to develop many of these traits. However, I feel that I need to work on passionate curiosity. Often, I am okay with just hearing what I am told and do not go out to seek further understanding. I believe to help develop this trait, I need to find a subject I am genuinly curious about and start learning more in that subject. Maybe, eventually, when I learn more about that subject I will have better questioning skills and learn what it is like to be curious and seek answers.

Passionate curiosity is a primary quality to have as a CEO. Being driven and excited about your work can branch into being fearless, being able to overcome adversity, and having a flexible mindset that focuses on the task at hand. Personally, I believe passion is the key to any career; having a curiosity that is driven by aspiration and strife makes an individual successful in any position, including that of a CEO. Of the qualities presented, I would like to think that I possess team smarts, passionate curiosity, and fearlessness. I do have confidence but am working on the "battle-hardened" part. Instead of a simple mindset, I think that a flexible one is more important. Being able to adapt your way of thinking to any task is critical in being a business leader who constantly needs to strategize and lead many aspects of an organization.

I think the most important quality to have as a CEO is a passionate curiosity. You have to have that desire to want to know what other people are thinking because in the long run that could help you be more successful. I feel like I possess the confidence, team smarts and passionate curiosity, but I lack fearlessness at times because I do not want my idea to completely different than everyone else's. I think wise time management should be added to the list because a CEO has to be able to know how to use their time efficiently in order to get all the necessary things completed.

Out of all the characteristics explained and written down in the article. Teamwork by far has to be the most important and influential in my opinion. A CEO can not be successful if all the workers can not work with each other or get along. Just think about it, would your favorite football team can win games if your quarterback and offensive line doesn't get along. Cooperation plus communication is key for successful.

I believe that a CEO should possess confidence and team smarts. Having confidence is really important when it comes to executing ideas or taking on challenges. Without that, nothing can be effective. Another thing is having team smarts. There is no way anything can be done if the CEO is not a team player. Compromising and listening to employees will ultimately create a good relationship with them. Something I think should be added is Passion to whatever you want to accomplish. I am still trying to find what I am TRULY most passionate about, so I can be a little shaky on that. If a CEO possess that trait, I believe nothing can stop them from accomplishing anything.

The most important skill in that list is Passionate Curiosity. A CEO who does not or will not learn from his experiences is as good as a dead CEO. The industries move too quickly nowadays for a CEO to remain with the old ways. Communication is also a crucial skill that needs to be added to the list. It is hard to be a good team player without saying anything or having no communications skills. One attribute I feel I am decent at is a simple mindset. Making things simple is relatively easy for me. However, I do feel that I need to improve on my fearlessness. I am not a big fan of huge risks, and so I often miss opportunities I could have taken.

While all the characteristics listed are vital in being an effective CEO, fearlessness is by far the most important one. It takes guts to carry an entire business' future on your shoulders. While others work below the CEO and make important decisions, the CEO's word is law. If the CEO makes one bad move the whole business can fail. While they need to think rationally, they also need to be able to take risks.

If I were to add any characteristics to the list,I would add the ability to think with an open mind, give criticism without insulting, and be able to admit their failures. Personally, I need to work on achieving battle-hardened confidence.

CEOs should have passionate curiosity and confident. Those are by far the two most important characters traits they can possess. This is so because when you are passionate about what you do, you do not feel like you are actually working. This is key is a CEO's perspective because they are under a lot of pressure from making the main decisions that lead the company a certain way. They also must be confident. A person who does not believe in his/her own ideas will never succeed in life. Also, having confidence goes a long way in other people following your foot steps or for meeting new people. The more confident you look, the more respect and attention you get. I feel like they should have wit as well, so they do not take themselves too seriously. Out of the traits, I think the most important one to have is fearlessness. Just because your stock isn't doing well or you aren't selling the projected amount of units, you can't be scared to try new things. Often very successful companies are scared to try new things because they don't want to risk losing sales if people don't like what they're doing, but they might be limiting their sales by being conservative. Having many different connections in different places allows a CEO to gain many favors and get better deals on items and services that they need. Being fearless allows a CEO to make the power plays in making decisions that would ultimately make or break the company. I need to work on my fearlessness. I have been taught to be very conservative with anything, but in the economy, one needs to be willing to take risks.

I believe that every CEO should have team smarts for many various reasons.Being a CEO ,comes with working with many other people and doing it very well. You have to posses this trait as a CEO because if you want to own a huge brand or company ,you will need to work together well with a bunch of people.
I would add that a CEO should have battle hardened confidence, because a person needs to believe in themselves and their own beliefs before they can make others believe them as well.
I would say that i posses battle hardened confidence, team smarts.and curiosity. However i feel like sometimes i Lack being fearless.

Out of all the traits listed in the article, the one most important has to be fearlessness. The CEO of a company has to be ready to face things and face decisions that may well be out of their comfort zone. they need to be fearless to take those decisions and push the company on forward. i believe that honesty and responsibility should be added to the list. a CEO is almost expected to make decisions that will benefit the company. these traits need to be there in order for the company to prosper correctly. i would like to believe that i have team smarts, however i sometimes lack in fearlessness.

ceos need passion. as long as they are passionate and they have workers who are just as passionate, they can be sucessfull. if you dont belive in somthing you cant sell.
i would add just one thing; sociallbilty you have to know how to talk to people so that they understand you and dont get frustrated at you.
i need to work on persistance. i tend to start projects and then get tired of them for a while. i need to remeber my end goal and just finish without hesitaion

I believe that a CEO should always have fearlessness because in order to make sure the company is always doing as best as it can, there should be risks taken.
Being patient and well rounded are also attributes that a CEO should have because things don't always go smoothly right away and they should be able to take different approaches to handle situations.
I believe I possess passionate curiosity but I should work on fearlessness.

I believe the most important trait is the confidence that is portrayed by the CEO as that is picked up by the workers of the company and the public image of the company. I feel like the one I would most need to work on out of the traits given is me being able to take risks without it eating me away on the inside. I already have the curiosity as it will soon be my job as an engineer to discover why things work the way they do and how to improve upon it. I am already confident in my abilities and and able to work quite well in teams as it is something that the American education system trains students for.

I think the most important characteristic for a CEO is battle hardened confidence. One must be confident in their choices and ideas in order to be successful and take it to the next level.
In addition, I think CEOs must have respect for both their company and the people working in it along with the ability to negotiate and capture other's attention.
I believe that I possess passionate curiosity and team-smarts. The characteristic I need to work on is fearlessness.

One important skill that a CEO must have is a simple mindset. This makes it much more convenient for the CEO to get their core point across efficiently and effectively without making it confusing. A characteristic that should be added is wise; when faced with a difficult choice, a CEO must know what to do for the best without causing any problems. A trait I would like to improve on is passionate curiosity because I am still searching for a path for my future that I am passionate and curious about.

CEO's should not only know what they are doing, but also be fearless at all times. These characteristics are important because they are the ones that need to be able to take risks instead of being unsure or playing it safe. Also, leadership is very important. The way a CEO carries out their company and the expectations that are needed to be made, sets the goals and outlooks for the company as well. Out of all those qualities having passionate curiosity may the one I am like most because it is important for me to enjoy and love something for me to put forth my best effort.

I think the most important quality listed in the article was battle hardened confidence. An important trait you can notice in someone is how they react when they fail. The people that can bounce back from failures both major and minor in my opinion make or break a good CEO. I think I possess some of the qualities listed. If it is something that matters to me and isn't a menial school assignment, I think I can be passionate for my work. I also believe I have a simple mindset as well as team smarts.

I personally believe the most important aspect of a CEO is confidence - specifically, the confidence to make risks and own up to your mistakes. Many bad CEOs try and put the blame on mistakes on other people, or try and stay safe and not really do anything for the company. The first is a much more deplorable thing to do, as if it is brought to public attention, you are made to be a "bad guy" which could mean the end of a good paying career, while the second just means you don't really contribute much of anything to the world or the company.

I believe the most important trait that a CEO can have is a simple mindset. In any job or task, you must remember that you are working towards on ultimate goal, and you must keep that goal in mind at all times. In other words, you must begin with the end in mind, or there is no point in beginning. Another thing that should be added to the list is patience, because you can never expect immediate results in a business. I probably excel in confidence (sometimes a little too much) but probably need to work on fearlessness.

A characteristic that I think should be added is the ability to connect with others who work for them because often times they are disconnected from their own employees. I think that I am good art being a team player and someone who can see the point of view from other people's perspectives. One thing I do need to work on is the ability to convey what feel in everything that I do.

I believe the most essential characteristic would be battle-hardened confidence because in order to be successful you must believe in yourself first. Some other characteristics that can be added should be a good moral conscious, and intuition. Out of the 5 characteristics, I believe I obtain passionate curiosity, and one I would need to work on would be fearlessness.

I believe the most important characteristic is battle hard confidence. This is important in a CEO because when hard times hit or something goes wrong it is important that you know how to react and handle the situation with confidence. I think being ethical , honest, and a good communicator should all be added to the list.
I believe I possess team smarts because I work well with others though I need to work on my fearlessness.

Battle Hardened confidence and team smarts are two traits every CEO must possess. Confidence is a must have for leaders that want to control their team, without confidence team members will simply lose the will to accept the leader's superiority. A leader should also be sensitive to their team members and know each persons strengths and weaknesses. I believe a innocent form of cunning, and wisdom should be added to this list. A leader should know how to work the business to their liking and in order to do that the leader must be cunning and wise. I trait I believe I posses is battle hardened confidence because, I have been through a lot in my short life and I believe I am a stronger person because of those things.

I think that the most important trait a CEO should have is confidence. Not only should he or she have confidence in himself or herself, but he/she should also believe in the employees of the company and the company overall. If the CEO is able to portray that confidence, then other people like employees and customers can see and feel that confidence as well. I believe i hold the CEO characteristic of simple mindedness. Over-analyzing and over thinking things is very unnecessary and makes life more complicated and stressful. I would need to work on being more fearless though.

Of those traits listed I think team smarts is the most important because, as the position of CEO is the top leadership role in a company, a person no matter how brilliant cannot effectively influence their followers if they are not knowledgeable in how a team works best. Some other traits that I believe should be added are selflessness, the ability to make everyone around you feel safe, honesty, working for the "why", the necessity to make things better, and a desperate, obsessive motivation and work ethic. Of the listed, I believe I possess fearlessness and passionate curiosity. I entered band and JROTC with the desire to try to learn something new and knowing that I would be entering the program with no previous friends and with only a little bit of knowledge about what they were all about, did not stop me from joining.
I would need to work on a simple mindset and battle-hardened confidence because I tend to overthink things and at times still doubt myself.

i believe one of the great traits that ceos of companies often share is the ability to make decision quickly and make those decisions that cause the least amount of regret later on. i believe this is a really important characteristic as many a time , people in high positions such as ceos have difficulty taking the correct decision as their decision affects a lot of people and this form of critera while decision making makes it an efficient process.
