To me, the most important trait is 'passionate curiosity.' People that have this trait are the innovators. Their desire and curiosity are essential for maintaining the current status and providing new benefits for a company. Ultimately, entrepreneurial ability is an economic scarcity, so passionate curiosity drives people toward success.

Some characteristics could be added.
1) Economic ability: the person must have the economic means to survive in the business world.
2) Knowledge of others' desires: in order to be successful, one must be able to predict what the general population wants, not what the CEO wants.

Finally, I definitely have the traits of team-smarts and curiosity. I work well in groups and consider other ideas, while incorporating my beliefs. I also contain the raw curiosity for how things work and how they can be better. However, I do not have the fearless aspect. I am more frugal with my money and would not be able to take huge entrepreneurial risks.

I also think that the most important trait is ‘passionate curiosity’ since that what starts any innovator’s career. Having such passionate curiosity is what will drive the innovator to push his ideas to the limits and strive for success at all cost.

A few characteristics that should be added
1. Openness to new ideas: the person must be willing to accept other’s ideas that may seem unethical at the time but will benefit his company in the long run.
2. Friendliness: the person cannot be a jerk (dictator) because no one will be willing to work for him.

I feel I possess passionate curiosity team-smarts because I enjoy working in groups and almost always comprise with my group members. I also contain somewhat passionate curiosity because I am determine on work that I have a desire for. I think I will need to work on a simple mind-set and fearlessness because I am always complicated and never fearless in spending money for an investment.

In my opinion confidence is key! To begin any entrepreneurial work a person must have the confidence to begin and then face the challenges that come as the job progresses. In a persons personality confidence also plays a key role. When you portray your confidence the people who work with you also feel a sense of certainty and determination. So, confidence is the primary factor a person should seek.

The list should include...
1. Creativity
2.motivation
3. Compassion
4. Trustworthiness
I feel I possess trustworthiness, simple mind set, fearlessness, passionate curiosity, and compassion. I feel that I need to work on motivation, creativity, and confidence.

Personally, I feel the most important characteristic to have is a simple mindset because; basically you’re over complicating an already simple situation. Being a CEO is hard enough without people complicating everything. Sometimes the best answer is the most simplistic. Moreover, I feel people who are able to find a simple effective solution to complex problems are more likely to get a bonus or a promotion because they have an ability not many people possess: simplicity.

Important Traits:
1.The Ability to Compromise – if one cannot compromise with fellow colleagues then they are not good managers, CEOs, etc.
2.Understanding – there are many instances where we have to be understanding and the more understanding we are the easier life is.

The one trait I have is a simple mindset. I don’t like complicated situations they make me feel stressed, so in all situations I try my best to keep everything simple. But my one issue is confidence; I’m not one to debate or anything because I always feel like the other people know more than I do.

I think that 'battle-hardened confidence' is the most important trait to have because it shows that one is capable to see a mistake he or she has made and how they are able to overcome it without letting the mistake break down their confidence.

Characteristics that could be added:
1. Leadership Skills because a person should be capable to manage a group properly in effort to do what may be best for the company.
2. Will to Compromise because it's best to be able to come to agreements with your coworkers so that the company can progress.

I think that i have the trait fearlessness. I am willing to take the neccessary risks that i think will lead me to the goal i am trying to reach.

I believe that having passionate curiosity is the most important trait to possess because without exploring new pathways and searching settings yet to be explored, you will never be ahead of your competition, only follow them.
Characteristics that should be added include compassion, determination, and creativity.
Of the characteristics mentioned in the article, I believe I have passionate curiosity, fearlessness, and team smarts. Battle hardened confidence is only gained through experience and I tend to over think things instead of having a simple mindset.

In my opinion, fearlessness is the most important trait. No investor looks for an idle company to invest in. Plus, fearlessness also incorporates the ability for the individual to have confidence in his/her decisions.

Characteristics that should be added:
1. Ability to take criticism and morph it into something beneficial for both the individual and the company.
2. Ability to adjust to the changing world through an open mind and a yielding mindset to change.

Depending on the background and operations of the company, I would say that I have the passionate curiosity. I also have the knowledge of team smarts since I can both work as the leader as well as listen and obey to higher instructions. I need to work on a simple mind set since I tend to be elaborate and wordy with explanations. Also, I would need to work on a battle-hardened self confidence that can withstand the critical blows of executives in corporations.

All five of the traits are important in my opinion, but I believe that confidence is the most important one. People must be willing to go on in the face of adversity.

Traits that should be added are: 1)Being willing to finish what you started. Sometimes a great thing is started but never finished and the idea gets wasted.
2)Accepting failure.People fail. Sometimes there is no getting around it. The person must be able to look past this failure and learn from it.

I think I lack the passionate curiosity.

I think the most important trait of any CEO is confidence. Nobody wants to be lead by someone who is not sure of themselves. Without confidence from the person in charge, the people working for them won't have the confidence in themselves to do the best job that they can.

Other things I feel that could be useful to a CEO:
1. Unwavering expectations. A good CEO should keep strong expectations of their employees so that productivity stays high.
2. Desire to want others to succeed. A good CEO should want others in his company to succeed just as much as he wants success for himself. They are both one in the same anyway.

I think the one trait I could use the most work on is passionate curiosity. I'm curious about some things but not to the point that I am driven to change or improve those things. I feel I contain a certain degree of confidence and fearlessness though and that these two traits go hand in hand. Furthermore, having played a variety of team sports, I feel like I know what it takes to be a good team player.

I believe that the most important trait is 'battle hardened confidence.' People who have this trait have displayed the ability to pick themselves up after an adversity and still face it. This would benefit a company because people are attracted to positive attitudes.

Some characteristics could be added
1. creativity: The companies leading the world are the ones that innovate.
2. compassion: People adhere to companies that treat people like people.

I believe I possess fearlessness as I am willing to play a role beyond my comfort zone or am willing to take the risks that other people will not take. I feel i need to work on confidence. Although I can take the risks, often times I don't believe that I can succeed.

I think that passionate curiosity is the most important trait.
Characteristics that I think should be added to the list:
-Adaptability
-Determination
I think that I am very adaptable to new ideas and such, but I'm not very determined.

I do think passionate curiosity is the most important because if u just don't care about anything and just go with the flow than nothing is gained.
Characteristics to be added:
1. determination
2. passion
3. the will power to break down all obstacles in your way
I think i have passion. If it is something i like then passion is at the highest level. What i lack at some points in my life is confidence, determination. Sometimes i feel not sure of myself. however, i have friends family and peers who are of great help.

The most important trait is confidence. When you radiate an aura of confidence, it seeps into the well being of everyone around you, and they themselves will find confidence in the deep recesses of their psyche. It only takes one person's assurance to raise everyone's morale.

Some characteristics include
1)Cunning - being smart is simply not enough, having a this ability will actually help you to succeed and get in the lead.
2)Adaptability - if something unexpected happens, change your tactics and approach to match the opposition
I feel that I sometimes display these traits, and I am somewhat lacking in confidence.

Personally, I believe that battle-hardened confidence is the most important trait of a CEO. As the head of an institution, a CEO cannot show weakness, yet they must be strong and exhibit braveness. Also, CEO's must be confident in their decisions regarding all aspects of their institution.

Some characteristics:
1. Understanding-CEO's often believe their ideas are correct and tend to not listen to their employees.
2. Creativity-CEO's that can be creative with their ideas can often spark creativity in their employees as well.

I believe that I have the traits of confidence and team smarts because I often use my confidence to help my team get started. I also feel that I am very understanding as well. I definitely lack in passionate curiosity and creativity because I like to stick to a certain path and idea and not deviate away from it.

The most important part of being a CEO probably lies in their ability to interact well with confidence, to be a team-player.

To add a couple, a CEO should have empathy and be just. Empathy lets them see how to best run their company, as Ender's Game says (and I misquote... by a lot:) "you need to empathize with something to overcome it". Justice allows them to run the company smoothly.

I need to work on fearlessness for sure! That and confidence are definitely weak points. I do have passionate curiosity, but only in things that interest me, so i could work on that as well. I also have a more simple mind set when I have put a lot of thought into a decision. Most times, I think a sentence could state my position more clearly than four pages.

Although passionate curiosity is an important trait a CEO should have, he must have confidence. I think confidence is the key to success. You have to have confidence to take risks, and most of the time you have to take risks.
Traits that might be important:
1) Determination
2) Leadeship
3) Trustworthiness
I'm very determined and trustworthy. I definietely need to work on my confidence.

To me, fearlessness is the most important characteristic to have, the main reason being is that if you find your company doing nothing interesting it will be stuck in a rut and will never gain an interest without some sort of miracle.

The traits I see fit:
1. Always being down to earth (It never helps anyone when you try to convince yourself that your decisions are always perfect)
2. Knowledge of the public (One has to know of the outside world)

I posses a simple mind set, I don't mess around with people and always get to the point. One characteristic I need to work on is team smarts, I generally prefer to work on my own and lack trust for anyone else.

In my opinion, the most important quality a CEO should possess should be the "battle-hardened confidence." If and only if a person is confident about a company's future performance, he/she can successfully work on it.
Moreover, words like motivation, diligence and determination should be added to the list.
Personally, I believe simple mind-set and passionate curiosity are words that would apply to me.

I believe that having the quality of "passionate curiousity" is the most important. As Steve Jobs said in an interview with Bill Gates, the only reason he succeed was because he loved what he did. To have passion for a subject and pursue it means that even if you have to stay up night after night, you'll still enjoy the work. Without passion, perseverance is hard. Also, curiously goes along with passion, if you are passionate about what thing, and you are also curious enough to want to find out more, you will naturally do your be and, thus, succeed.
I think, personally, I have both of these qualities to a certain extent. However, my laziness sometimes overshadows my passionate curiosity and I definitely need to work in that.

I personally think that fearlessness is a really important trait that CEO's have. The ability to be fearless is the fact that you have the power to over come any obstacle. Fearlessness also gives you a certain authority and makes people revere you. If you are afraid of what is going to happen, then that shows a lack of confidence. To be fearless is to have to courage to do anything. That is the key ingredient to success.

Some characteristics I think should be added are:
1) The ability to be willing to accept other people's opinions because it allows you to expand your ideas and strengthen the trust between your coworkers.
2) Trust. Going back to my first added characteristic, Trust is something that should be added because if you don't have any trust in your partner's work, then you will spend to much time worrying about what they are doing, rather than what you could be doing to accomplish more.

For me, I think I need to work more on the fearlessness trait. I need to learn to be brave an take risks because there have been times where I was too hesitant to make a decision. I also need to work on the team smarts because I am so accustom to working by my self that it's hard to believe my partner will do their own share of work. If I trust my partners, we can save time and accomplish more.

I believe that the most important trait is trust and self-confidence. You need to believe in yourself to be able to accomplish anything in life. This will motivate you to fulfill your dreams and make them into reality. It is really important to portray yourself as a strong person toward others.
The list should also contain:
1) Motivation 2) Passion 3)Honesty 4)Sociable
I feel that I personally possess traits like passion, motivation or strive to succeed, friendly to others and a honest heart.

In my opinion, battlehard confidence is the most important character trait. As the CEO, a person must be able to make a decision with 110% certainty that his/her decision is what is best for the company. Without confidence, a CEO would cause his/her company to have a sense of reluctance, as it depends on the leader.

Additional character traits a CEO should have are:
1) Understanding - A CEO must be understanding of the people of his or her company, for they are just as important to the company.
2) The ability to cope with the unexpected - A CEO should know that problems may occur, even with confidence or fearlessness. What is important is the fact that the CEO knows how to cope with these problems in a second.

Of these traits, I think I possess team smarts. As a part of a team, I have learned to listen to others' opinions. Moreover, I enjoy working in groups with people who enjoy doing the same work I do. However, I lack confidence and fearlessness. I cannot make decisions, and I almost always over think a situation.

In my opinion, battle-hardened confidence is the most important quality trait for a C.E.O. to obtain. Mostly because of how self-motivated these people are, but also because they have a positive attitude mixed with a sense of purpose and determination.
1) Open-mindedness is one key characteristic that I think should be added, mostly because it is always beneficial to have people that are open to hear new ideas, regardless of their quality or where they come from’
2) Another thing is their ability to get along with others and communicate well. If one cannot do these things, I doubt they will get very far as an entrepreneur.
I feel that I belong under the “fearlessness” section, because one major thing I can relate to is the fact that I too “start twitching when things are operating smoothly.” Furthermore, I am always looking for ways to improve these; I guess you could say striving for perfection yet never satisfied
I believe I need to work on the battle-hardened confidence and the passionate curiosity, mostly because I tend to be indecisive and lack confidence in my decisions, and also tend to lack the passion and curiosity behind many of my ideas and plans.
