Welcome Class of 2014
Greetings future Economists! Your first task is to show me that you are able to find this site and leave a comment. So tell me one topic that you think that we will study this year. You may not copy anyone else's post, so posting earlier is better.
In economics I think we will understand how changes in economic policies affects our daily life and also we will probably learn about what causes certain products to be manufactured over another and what causes people to make certain decisions.
Saimol Edaparampil 4th Period I think we will learn about how different actions can affect the economy in a significant way- such as the disagreement in the government which resulted in the government shutdown.
I believe we will be learning about supply and demand policies, the stock market, Gross Domestic Product, and banking. Also, I think we will be discussing the economy of America today and studying the changes occurring on a day to day basis.
Mohammad Abdel-Aziz 3rd Period I think that in Economics this semester we will learn about several economists, dead and alive, that have affected the market as we see it and interpret it today.
I think we will learn about economics and how it has changed over time. We will be able to see how different economic ideas have been applied throughout time and how today's economy differs from our economy in the past (decades ago, or even during the time of the founding fathers.
I think we will learn about interest rates and the different types of financial cards (credit cards, charge cards, debit cards). In addition I think we will learn about the different types of savings, bonds, and loans, both high risk and low risk (savings bonds, savings accounts, grants, loans, mortgages, etc.).
Samantha Pecson 4th period This semester, I think we will learn how to pass the AP exam. Also, I believe we will learn how banks decide when is the best time to produce more currency.

Brookley Torres 4th Period This semester I think we will learn about the effects of government actions as well as other society actions on the economy. We will learn about the different things that can be done to influence the economy and learn how to prepare for this AP test.
Saira Sultan 3rd This semester in economics I believe we will learn about ways to efficiently use our money in stock markets as well as how to have a close prediction to where the stock market will be within a few days.
