This Blog is designed
for Mr. Pye's AP Economics
classes. It is meant to show
that Economics is not just a
vocabulary word in some
textbook, rather it plays a
vital role in every aspect of
our daily lives.

Welcome Class of 2014
Greetings future Economists! Your first task is to show me that you are able to find this site and leave a comment. So tell me one topic that you think that we will study this year. You may not copy anyone else's post, so posting earlier is better.
I think that our class will discuss and compare our economy in regards to the U.S. versus other countries. Furthermore, how the economy of other countries can help and hurt the nation's economy.
This year I think Mr.Pye will be teaching us about the stock market in the U.S.A and around the world. Aswell as comparing and differentiating stocks from years or eras.

Forty seven comments? The pickings are slim Mr. Pye. Well I think that you are going to teach us the ways of the stock market and hopefully how to invest in it to make it to that top 1 percent.
I think we will discuss what would potentially shift the value of stock whether it being good or bad. We will also talk about the past events that impact the stock markets.
I'm hoping this year we will learn about the future of our economy and discuss hypothetical situations, such as having another stock market crash, what sort of effect a war may have at this point in time, and what job markets will soon become high in demand.

Within Economics, I hope that we will cover the important matters regarding a global market and the impact natural disasters have on the market value for certain goods.
