This Blog is designed
for Mr. Pye's AP Economics
classes. It is meant to show
that Economics is not just a
vocabulary word in some
textbook, rather it plays a
vital role in every aspect of
our daily lives.

Welcome Class of 2013
Greetings future Economists! Your first task is to show me that you are able to find this site and leave a comment. So tell me one topic that you think that we will study this year. You may not copy anyone else's post, so posting earlier is better.
I believe we will learn a variety of things, including the national deficit and national debt in America, and what several different economists have proposed to avoid the previous recession. Or what could lead in a stock market crash.
I want to learn more about the economic system of the United States and how I can live according to the shifts and changes.I think learning about the dead economists and their theories will be helpful in gaining this knowledge.
I think that we will study why the U.S. dollar has decreased in value the since the early 1900's and how it influences the future and the possible solutions to counter the devaluing of the dollar.
I think we will learn about the broad range of factors that influence our national economy. And how the United States government and the private sector assist and harm our national economy.
I think we will learn about the tax code and what provisions can either be made or not made to it in making it a more efficient revenue raising system.
I think we will learn about how america is the best country in the world and how one day we will take over and live like kings and you, mr. pye, will be God of the New World.
jk. probs learn about marketing, goods and services, the different states of the economy, capitalism.
I think we will be learning about how the economy works, how it all started, how economists came up with their ideas, and regulating the stock market, and things that can effect the economy.
I think we will be learning about the current state of the US economy and how we got to where we are now. I think we will learn how money flows and makes a successful (or otherwise) US economy.
Perhaps a better question would be, "what aren't we going to cover this semester?". It is clear that through your expert military training paired with your Russian spy intelligence, we will undergo a transformation of the mind as our studies span the topics of arts, literature, the Pye clan history, economics, nuclear engineering, and guerrilla warfare.
